The Knowledge of GOD!!!

Part 1: I Know GOD is with me

To know? What does it truly mean to know?

I like the definition of Encarta it says; To have information firmly in the mind or committed to memory.

Knowledge is a big word. However, for the purpose of this study, i will love you to know today that GOD is with you. HE's with you in the good times and doesn’t leave you at all in the bad, and our ability to convince ourselves of this truth even in seemingly troubled times is a proof of one’s knowledge of GOD. That as JESUS did, we are able to walk on waters, knowing that in HIM we live and move and have our being . Just as anew born baby, living in its mother’s womb, whatever happens around it has minimal effects however, the only thing that affects it is how well the mother is doing, and for us with GOD, HE is always doing well and exceedingly well indeed.
We should make it a habit to constantly celebrate confidently in our GOD, in the good times and bad. In the good times it's easy however, in the seemingly bad times, it could be a struggle, and to some, totally abstract. It becomes easy however when you habitually remind yourself of HIS goodness in time past. That should keep you going… “…but David encouraged himself in the LORD…”1Sam 30:6. Fix your eyes on JESUS! The BIBLE says in Phil 4:4; Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
The word rejoice means to stir up joy within you, create it! That means you have the power to be joyful and happy too. The BIBLE adds that let that joy be because of the LORD! And not your immediate environment or anything else!
GOD loves you regardless of any mistakes you made so please don't think HE could leave you in the flood.
JESUS walked on water in Matt 14:22-33, and HIS beloved Peter did also but however the moment doubt filled peter's heart, he began to sink, how soon did they forget all the wonders he had done in the past, including that only few verses away Matt 14:13-21, HE fed multitudes of 5,000 men with only 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, how then could he ever let HIS own sink?  Knowledge!
In Mark 4:37-41 It became so easy for them to forget how JESUS was in their boat so they could never sink at all, when they has boisterous waters on their way to Gethsemane, JESUS had to calm them down and them calm the waters.
How many more convictions do you need! For me, this is enough, let’s not forget that all HIS promises where not lies! HE will never leave you nor forsake you, and HE didn’t give us conditions before HE made those statements, HE didn’t say, if you live all your life without sin, or if you can stay out of trouble, HE said it and gave us no conditions.

What next? As David did, encourage yourself in the LORD, knowing that it all works out for your good and for HIS glory

Prayer of Salvation:
Does all these sound new to you? Or do you feel it’s necessary to get it right with JESUS simply say this, believing with you whole heart that HE hears you ,say;
Dear father, in the name of JESUS I accept you as my LORD and saviour, I believe you came to die for my sins and I confess you as master over my life from today and forever more, Amen
I agree with you in this new decision and I know HE who has started this good working you will see you through till the end … JESUS loves u!
