Hey Everyone!
Hope y’all had a mind blowing week? Having
understood joy, I know that as you practiced it, last week must have been
different from the rest. Today’s post is a sequel to our previous topic and
really I can’t wait to share it with you.
A lot of us in today’s world have this “thing”
for the devil called “fear”. Fear of his power to ruin your destiny, afflict a
person with diseases or cause a fertile mortality. Unfortunately, a lot have
grown up with fear of his superiority and think it’s inevitable to be above his
sting. Well, I see you allowing this light shine so bright in and through you that
you become too hot and soo untouchable. I welcome you on board!
Now, the devil cannot stop us as believers for
several reasons. One of which is that we have victory over the devil because of
what CHRIST did for us at Calvary, which is to restore us to the presence of
GOD which was signified in Matt 27:51 “At that moment the
curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom...” (Allowing us
access to GOD’s very presence.) One of the ways to know it,
as in an evidence is that we are 100% full of joy and he isn’t! That’s simply
because Psalm 16:11 Says “…in your presence there is fullness of joy; at
your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” That’s the presence of GOD
that we have been given the privilege to enter by grace. Moving
on, automatically, it means that since we are full of joy as a function of our
new location, then we are totally full of strength and he (the devil) simply
isn’t!( Neh 8:10b “ …For the joy of the LORD is your strength").
Let’ explore the statements of GOD in HIS BOOK
again so as to have a clearer view shall we?
First ,Ps 16:11) says “…in your presence there is fullness of joy; at
your right hand are pleasures forevermore. The devil doesn’t reside in GOD’s
presence and neither does he have a place at the right side of GOD. That is an
exclusive right for sons of GOD(us) alone as we see in Eph 2:6 saying “And God
raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in
Christ Jesus,” So that robs the devil joy which automatically robs him of
strength. We recall, that the glory of a youth is in his strength (Prov 20:29) and that strength is gotten from the LORD (Neh 8:10b “(For the joy of the LORD is your strength").The
two verses imply that the strength / youthfulness of a man is determines by his
level of joy.
Secondly, It will do us well to
establish in our hearts that how useful a man is, is a product of how youthful he
is too, as seen in the verses above. It is common that old age comes with a
character of weakness which is the absence of strength. One of the names The
BIBLE calls the devil is an old serpent (Rev 20: 2 “He seized the
dragon--that old serpent, who is the devil, Satan--and bound him in chains for
a thousand years.” (Also in Rev 12:9.)). This verse shows GOD’s victory over
him in heaven and reveals our superiority in strength. Yes we see youthfulness in
old age but it’s only common with friends of GOD and a typical example is Moses,
for it is written of him in Deut 24:7 saying ” Moses was 120 years old when he
died, yet his eyesight was clear, and
he was as strong as ever.” (Emphasis mine).
If GOD has given us the authority over all snakes and scorpions as HE has said
in Luke 10:19,” I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions
and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”… then, how much more old ones? The
BIBLE called him (the devil) an old serpent millenniums ago, we can’t even
fathom the level of his weakness now coupled with our victory over him at
Calvary too.
Let’s say our good byes for now this way, knowing surely
that as long as I remain in the confines of this joy – the presence of GOD, I remain forever
victorious over all forms of attacks and activities of the enemy. The BIBLE
says and nothing will by any means hurt you! Dance in it, celebrate it! You are made for the top!
I know this will help your conviction and authority level
in this love journey, have the most victorious week ahead!
Remain @ the top
GOD LOVES YOU xoxo
Yours Lovingly,
Monic
