...For
it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfil his good
purpose. Phil
2:13
But God
demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners,
Christ died for us. Rom 5:8
Hey lovelies! How are you? School? Work? And
every other thing you did this week? I trust the LORD (not you nor your
responses) that it all went well J This is because, whether we
like it or not, as long as we are believers we have this assurance that GOD is
in us and as long as HE is in us, then HE is working in us and the works HE
does are good works that give HIM all the glory, fame and pleasure! So as I learnt
again today, whether we feel like it or not we all had a blessed week, whether
it looks like it or not! Hallelujah! Or as I would like to say, HalleluYAY!!!
So our first lesson is done already, our firsts reaction to what daily comes
out of the events in our days, weeks, months and years should never be “oh boy
how terrible that was” but more like, Thank you JESUS because whether it looks
like it or not, I did GOD’s will, because it is HE working in me, not me
working, whether I feel like it or not. Also, please never feel like GOD cannot
work in you. HE is with every believer! Yes EVERY #NoSpecialties! So next time
you actually seem to have a bad day, week or even year, remember all things are
gonna work out for your good because you love the LORD and you are called by
HIS promises. Isn’t that exciting? HALLELUYAY!
The next lesson (which was initially the
actual) is still on first reactions however, please take a look at these- What’s
our first reaction as a body to the presence or opinions of an unbeliever, a
friend from another denomination, or a brother with “not so perfect” believes
or maybe believes that simply differ in some way from ours? What’s your first
response?
From observations the first thing we do is
condemnation, we segregate them as though nothing good can come out of them.
When we do that, it shows we have no intentions to bring out the best in them.
Truth is, whether we like it or not, we are all given to perfect and complete
the body, so if our first reaction is not love, it remains impossible to ever
see the good in what they have to say or what they believe in, we cannot see if there
is truth in it that will help ease our race in this body and essentially, we
cannot correct the flaws. Loved one, if your first reaction is not love but
condemnation, there can never be correction so what exactly is the use that you
even noticing that a flaw or even error exist? With all the love in my heart, I
say this today. If GOD’s first response to us –the world (yes you are the world in John 3:16.) was
condemnation, HE will never have sent JESUS. We would have remained an irredeemable
sect (ouch! Cannot even imagine it!) Whether we like it or not, these people
are part of the body and we all have had faulty and “not so perfect” assumptions
at one time or the order about things said in the BIBLE knowingly or otherwise; worse off, some of us have actually taught these things to people! The fact remains,
if GOD’s first reaction to us then was condemnation, how would we have gotten
corrected or even grown in it?
Think about these and let the LOVE of GOD
lead you!
XOXOXO
MONIC
