LIVING IN MASTERY AND DOMINION

LIVING IN MASTERY AND DOMINION

Anchor Scripture: Nehemiah 8:10Don't be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!"
I could live in the thought of someone walking on water because JESUS did and Peter did too, but have you ever imagined someone dancing on water?! What tremendous exhibition of unfathomable mastery in the art of dancing and dominion over the waters. Today’s scriptural anchor is a direct instruction on how not to fail but to gloriously and generously excel in this race called life!
I love the definition of mastery by Encarta 2009 it describes the word as
1.
expert skill: expert knowledge or outstanding ability
2.
complete control: total control over somebody or something
To me it’s a life of bliss because everything is so easy. A stage where one has come to full knowledge of a particular skill to such an extent that exhibiting it with full competence is as easy as breathing. The message of GOD for us at MONIC today, in this week and beyond is that we can live like this in each and every area of our lives.
Yes the BIBLE says that I (you) can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). This means that you can do all things through CHRIST’S strength because by scripture we get to understand that it actually is GOD working in us both to will and to do of HIS good pleasures (Philippians 2:13) And this is how, Psalms chapter 16 vs 11 says “You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever”. This is the way the LORD expects us to live every day, the BIBLE calls it the path of life, meaning the way of life, meaning the way we should live our lives and carry out all of our activities, in fullness of joy and in praise. This is a deep spiritual principle. Even though at some point it may seem as though nothing is working, remind yourself and quickly apply mastery, dance in the storm. The BIBLE says in the book of Psalm chapter 8 vs 2 “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. The New International Version replaces the word strength for praise saying “Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.”  If you need strength to forge on in life to that big and bright vision ahead of you, before you kneel down in tears, exhibit the mastery that GOD has given you! Dance in the storm! What's more? you don't have to wait to first fail or feel drained, dance even when all thinga are great so you get to exhibit mastery at all times
